- 1.25 lbs raw chicken livers
- 10-12 cloves garlic
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
Peel and crush garlic cloves using a mortar and pestle or food processor.
Rinse livers under cold water. Let it stand to drain water out completely.
Heat oil over medium high heat.
Add garlic and sauté for a minute. Add the livers and turn the heat to medium-low. cover
Add 1/4 cup water if needed. Cook until livers turn dark brown and cooked through.
Serve immediately.
