Easy Garlic Chicken Livers
A quick and easy recipe for the novice cook who wants to try new dishes right away. The garlic flavor is a popular ingredient to pair with livers.
Ingredients
- 1.25 lbs raw chicken livers
- 10-12 cloves garlic
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
Instructions
- Peel and crush garlic cloves using a mortar and pestle or food processor.
- Rinse livers under cold water. Let it stand to drain water out completely.
- Heat oil over medium high heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for a minute. Add the livers and turn the heat to medium-low. cover
- Add 1/4 cup water if needed. Cook until livers turn dark brown and cooked through.
- Serve immediately.
