Tasty Hot Cocoa
Dark yet sweet hot beverage to ward away winter blue especially in a late evening being cozy by the fireplace or watching your favorite movie or tv show.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 whipping cream hand whipped
- pinch of cocoa powder for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Using a hand whisk, whip cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside and place it in the fridge to maintain its consistency.
- Prep the rest of the ingredients.
- Heat saucepan at medium temperature. Pour cocoa and sugar. Add water.
- Using a whisk, blend mixture until its completely dissolved.
- Turn stove to low temp and boil mixture until it thickens.
- Pour into fave mug. Add whipped cream on top.
- Enjoy!
- Option: Garnish with some cocoa powder.
