In some countries, like the philippines, Liempo is the proper term to use. This ingredient actually was not the first choice but someone burned the original ingredient (mexican chorizo) and did not have a back up. Chicharrones Nacho Grande
Try this version of the nacho appetizer using the infamous crunchy pork meat. The uniqueness of the taste brings out an interesting flavor to the dish.
Ingredients

- 1/4 lbs. Chicharrones meat part, break to small chunks
- 1 Green bell pepper sliced
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1 cup cup white quest
- 1/2 cup shredded melted cheese
- 1 tbsp. oil
Instructions
- heat oil at medium setting. sauté onions for 2 minutes.Add bell peppers.
- Add Chicharrones. Mix all ingredients well.
- While cooking ingredients above. Spread chips on serving plate.
- Warm up queso in saucepan. Pour it on top of chips. Spread shredded cheese on top of it.
- Pull Chicharrones mixture from heat and spread evenly on top of cheese.
- Serve immediately.
